Wayne Smith founded Smith Linestriping & Seal Coating in 1985. The company started in mid-Michigan, serving small local businesses and residential customers.
Over the years, a consistently superior product and industry-leading customer service grew our customer base to include Yum! Brands, Menards, Dow, the University of Michigan, Northwood University, Barton Malow, multiple city and county contracts, and many bank, school, and government contracts in Michigan and neighboring states.
The Next Generation
Today Smith Linestriping is owned and led by Zach Smith, Wayne’s son. Zach has worked full time with the company since 2004, and more than 22 years in the field have taught him the same standards his father built the business on. Smith Linestriping is still family-owned, and customers still get the hands-on training, management, and attention to every job they’ve counted on for decades.
Our roots and history are right here in Michigan. We know how to serve our customers and source the best products through vendor relationships built over many years, all while working around Michigan’s famously unpredictable weather.
